An experienced, articulate and dedicated child educator, education administrator, consultant and human rights activist with over 35 years of progressively responsible experience focused on child development, child rights protection and education.
Currently the Executive Director of Association for Childhood Education Practitioners (ACEP). In this capacity, she provides strategic leadership, oversight, and direction in anchoring ACEP’s engagement with federal and state governments, ministries, educational institutions development partners that are active in education such as DFID, and international multilateral organizations such as UNESCO. She actively participates in both national and international meetings and seminars on child rights policy, with a view to influencing key stakeholders.
Mrs. Oshodi’s transformational leadership at ACEP has contributed to improvements in the organizations’ s advocacy and impact. She provides strategic direction and vision for the organization while clearly communicating the importance of children’s rights to key stakeholders at the local, regional, and global levels. She leads with authenticity, establishes shared vision across the organization, and achieves objectives by fostering a culture of collaboration, dedication, operational excellence, and accountability.
Mrs. Oshodi navigates confidently at all levels of the organization, and with internal/external and international partners. She has led several delegates from Nigeria to attend international conferences in the United States, United Kingdom and some African countries on child rights and education issues. In addition, she participates annually in the Women Conference in the United Nations Headquarters in New York. She is an auth of notable Nursery and Primary Schools and Promoting Child Development & Enforcing Child Right in Nigeria.
